This Spring, the Yang Family University Art Galleries will host an exhibit of over 100 works by Roberto Marquez based on Dante’s Divine Comedy. The works are intended to illustrate the human experience, and the exhibition will mirror Dante’s masterpiece by dividing the works into three sections: Inferno (Hell), Purgatorio (Purgatory), and Paradiso (Paradise). Roberto Márquez was born in Mexico City in 1959, and his work has been exhibited in Mexico, The United States, South America, South Korea, Europe and Australia. He currently lives and works in New York.
