Let me take you down, ‘cause I’m going to strawberry fields! Join Judy Ditzler from the Ditzler Orchard and learn the dos and don’ts of strawberry production as well as important nutrition information about strawberries. OLLI members will receive a guided tour of the berry fields and then will be turned loose to pick their own strawberries. Strawberries are $3/lb, and members are responsible to pay for whatever they pick. Members must also provide their own transportation, and the OLLI group will meet at the berry fields, approximately half a mile from the Ditzler Orchard. After picking strawberries, the members can choose to drop by the Ditzler Orchard Store on their way back home.
