Math Algebra Refresher

Online summer Math refresher course for students wanting to take Math 035, 105, 115 or 241.

The Summer Algebra Refresher is a review of basic Algebra skills that are prerequisite for College Algebra or Statistics classes (Math 035,105,115 or 241). No part of those classes are covered. The program will run July 6 through August 7 through Blackboard. There will be a calendar of topics given, but students are welcome to set their own timetable. Tutors will also be available through Blackboard at scheduled times. Cost to the student is $50 which may be earned back in the form of a Barnes & Noble textbook credit if the student completes the program issued from The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The student will also be eligible to retake the Maple TA placement test at Indiana State University on August 7, 2020 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Students are required to supply their ISU email at registration when registering as a "new student" on the software or they cannot be added to Blackboard. Please have a Mastercard or Visa available for the registration payment because the time sensitive software could cancel your registration.  Your ISU Student ID is not needed.
