Hosted by Professor Kukral in his home, this presentation includes demonstrations of various types of player pianos
(including a Steinway player grand piano) and their music from the early twentieth century. Dr. Kukral will explain how player pianos work and will demonstrate using piano rolls from his extensive collection. He will also discuss restoration of older player pianos.
