We all have something to say and stories to tell. Creative writing is the perfect vehicle for sharing our experiences. For some of us, writing takes a little bit of practice. It's neither a gift anyone is born with, nor is it an identity reserved for a select few. Writing is a craft honed through collaboration and self-discipline. Anyone who loves to read can also write. It's really that simple.

In each workshop, we will spend two hours exploring the writing process, specifically what drives our creative urges and the tools we have at our disposal for writing personal essays, letters, memoirs, or even family histories. These meetings will consist of dialogues and writing exercises. There will also be time to workshop and/or perform our own pieces.

You may bring a laptop if you are more comfortable using a computer to write. CANCELLATION POLICY We understand that last minute schedule changes happen. We need to have at least a two hour notice before cancelling a scheduled session. If there is a cancellation after that allotted two hour window, it will result in a lost session. Current COVID-19 Guidelines and Precautions Face coverings must be worn during all CSA programming in ISU buildings.
