Prior to lunch we will visit with the staff of the White Violet Farm and learn about a variety of topics: Alpacas, organic gardens, bees, chickens, and the Farm Store.
After lunch we will visit a variety of sites on campus and learn about the history of the architecture of many of the
building. We will hop on and off the bus at such places as the St. Anne Shell Chapel, Log Cabin Chapel, Lourde’s Grotto and Cemetery. We will visit the inside of Guerin Hall and LeFer Hall to learn more about its history. Four generations of the Bohlen architectural firm of Indianapolis completed more than sixty projects for the Sisters of Providence from 1858 to 1967. We will visit some of those buildings.
