Terre Haute and many surrounding Indiana cities will expe-rience two solar eclipses in the next seven months. In Octo-ber of this year, the area will experience a partial solar eclipse and in April of 2024, we will experience a total so-lar eclipse. Yes, I said TOTAL. No traveling necessary, just step out your back door and enjoy. This program will get you ready. We will explore the science behind each eclipse, how to view them safely and help you understand the impact the April 2024 eclipse will have on Terre Haute and the surrounding area. Participants will receive a pair of solar glasses to view the eclipses and a tour of the new Terre Haute 2024 A Total Eclipse of the Haute exhibit at the museum. Come get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime event!
