OLLI members will meet at the old-fashioned soda fountain found in Lynn’s Pharmacy for a special treat and talk. Revel in the nostalgia of the antique fixtures, stainless steel soda fountain with oak front, and décor while enjoying a flavored coke, oldfashioned root beer float, or milkshake. The owner and head pharmacist, Lynn Hostetler, will discuss the importance of Vitamin D. Many Americans believe eating fortified foods will provide them with enough vitamin D, but many times they are found to be deficient in this very important nutrient. Learn what vitamin D does in your body, the best ways to boost your levels, and how being deficient can impact your overall health and wellbeing.
