Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is both a day and a season. In 2023, the Mardi Gras season begins January 6 and concludes February 21. It is a time of revelry, and indulgence. Mardi Gras precedes the Lenten season. Krewes are the organizations that typically host Mardi Gras festivities. This program will focus on the public and private celebrations, including 12th night parties, galas, and parades, and cultural traditions, and foods.
