This presentation will discuss the defense systems on US military aircraft and how they work to defeat infrared (IR) seeking threats. A brief history of the evolution of IR threats, missile defense systems, DoD community, and potential future concerns will also be discussed. He has been working on the optimization of these systems for over 9 years working at Naval Surface Warfare, Crane.
