Wyatt Lawson, Director of Education for the Swope Art Museum, will discuss the concept of art based wellness, what it is, and its potential impact on a person’s mental health. Wyatt will then lead the class through a drawing project in which the students will create a piece of neurographic art. Wyatt will provide a quick introduction on how to use colored pencils and oil pastels, provide instruction on drawing techniques, and then supervise the students as they create their very own work of art. The course fee includes all materials and supplies.
