The Globalization of Fast Food
With Dr. Anne Foster

Dates: Tuesdays, February 4 & 11
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Place: ISU Cunningham Memorial Library Room 028
Cost: $15

Join ISU History Professor Dr. Anne Foster as she explores the way fast food brought a standardized American style of quick eating to the rest of the world. American fast food restaurants also adapted to local cultures, changing menus, service styles, and restaurant design. What does this mean for American fast food companies in the future? Will the Big Mac still exist in Tokyo or only the shrimp-based Ebi Burger? As the fast food industry changes with things like quick service, fast casual, apps, delivery, different cuisines, and even healthy choices, how has fast food developed in America and where is it going next?

Fee: $15.00
