Home fires are the most common type of emergency in the United States and can cause deaths, injuries and property loss within minutes of breaking out. According to the National Fire Protection Association, adults over the age of 65 are twice as likely to be killed or injured by fires compared to the general population. By age 75, the risk increases to three times that of the general population. Are YOU prepared if your house catches fire? Join the Terre Haute Fire Department as they teach OLLI members some fire safety basics and how to prepare for emergencies. You will
learn what to do before, during and after a fire.
