Join OLLI members for a two session class where music and comedy come together to lift your spirits and put a
smile on your face.
James Chesterson will present an interactive lecture on the lives and talents of Victor Borge, Harpo Marx, and Anna
Russell. The three world renown comedians were also great musicians on their instruments. Not only will biographical background be given on each person, but excerpts from their interviews and performances will be shared.
Following the musical narrative a second class will feature videos of highly acclaimed Borge stage and television
performances from the past, including “Victor Borge Live in Minneapolis,” “The Funniest Joke I’ve Ever Heard,” “The Page Turner,” “Using Punctuation Sounds,” and others.
