Founded in 1997 by Dr. Charles “Chuck” Dietzen, Timmy Global Health supports care sites in Guatemala, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and Nigeria, serving over 100,000 patients. OLLI is hosting its first chocolate tasting contest, featuring Ecuadorian chocolate from Timmy’s medical trips, as a fundraiser for ISU’s Timmy Global Health students. The event also includes a Timmy Tienda booth offering handmade Ecuadorian souvenirs such as alpaca wool scarves, shawls, and jewelry.
