This guided tour highlights the newly renovated Early Childhood Center at ISU. The center serves as a hub for teacher preparation, research, and community engagement while modeling high-quality early childhood education. Visitors explore learning spaces designed to support developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences aligned with the IDOE’s Foundations for Young Children. The program emphasizes active exploration, cultural diversity, and strong relationships between children, families, and professionally trained educators. The tour addresses how intentional classroom design, play-based learning, and reflective teaching practices support early development and lifelong learning.

Members who cancel a program registration will only receive a full refund if the following criteria are met: cancellation is received in the OLLI office 15 business days prior to the first meeting of any Course or Osher Online Course, cancellation is received in the OLLI office 30 business days prior to the event for a Special Event and/or 30 business days prior to the departure date for all day trips and overnight trips.
