The Lost Generation
With Ferdâ Asya, PhD

Wednesdays, April 15, 22, 29 May 6, 13, 20
3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This course examines the cultural transformations that reshaped America and Western Europe between World War I and the Great Depression. Known as the Roaring Twenties or the Jazz Age, this era redefined values and creativity. Focusing on 1920s Paris, where writers like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and Gertrude Stein challenged convention, the class explores how their works captured both the excitement and disillusionment of the time and how the decade’s legacy continues to shape modern culture.
