Kick off Black History Month with an evening of flavor, culture, and community. Experience the warmth of Southern hospitality with Shannon Hart, owner of Anna’s Soul Food. This special dining event features a chef’s tasting of classic favorites including fried catfish, fried chicken, loaded spaghetti, and a vegetarian option. Enjoy sides of cheddar mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fried cabbage, and loaded green beans, served with cornbread and banana pudding for dessert. Sweet tea, unsweetened tea, lemonade, and water complete the meal. Shannon will share the history and heritage behind each dish, honoring the enduring legacy of soul food.

Members who cancel a program registration will only receive a full refund if the following criteria are met: cancellation is received in the OLLI office 15 business days prior to the first meeting of any Course or Osher Online Course, cancellation is received in the OLLI office 30 business days prior to the event for a Special Event and/or 30 business days prior to the departure date for all day trips and overnight trips.
