Paul Bennett of Valley Comics demonstrates how to improve the visual appeal and quality of comic books through hands-on restoration techniques. Participants will work with publications provided by Paul to practice cleaning, flattening, and buffing methods while learning proper comic handling to prevent damage to covers, pages, and spines. The class will also include demonstrations of pressing techniques using humidity and a t-shirt press. Attendees are welcome to bring their own comics for personalized advice and project recommendations. All materials are included in the course cost.

Members who cancel a program registration will only receive a full refund if the following criteria are met: cancellation is received in the OLLI office 15 business days prior to the first meeting of any Course or Osher Online Course, cancellation is received in the OLLI office 30 business days prior to the event for a Special Event and/or 30 business days prior to the departure date for all day trips and overnight trips.
