Join THSO Executive Director and Principal Clarinetist Dr. Samantha Johnson-Helms and friends as they preview the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra’s Beethoven & Bluegrass concert. The presentation will highlight the extraordinary meeting of musical traditions: the blending of the elegance of classical composition with the heartfelt power of blues and folk-inspired styles. The presentation will detail Seyfried’s Double Concerto for Two Violins, Clarice Assad’s Baião N’ Blues, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. The presentation will show how these works create a concert experience that is both innovative and unforgettable.

Members who cancel a program registration will only receive a full refund if the following criteria are met: cancellation is received in the OLLI office 15 business days prior to the first meeting of any Course or Osher Online Course, cancellation is received in the OLLI office 30 business days prior to the event for a Special Event and/or 30 business days prior to the departure date for all day trips and overnight trips.
