Objective of the Travel: The primary purpose is to provide short-term medical and healthcare services to underserved, low-income indigenous communities in Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador, in collaboration with the Hombro a Hombro (HaH) Foundation. The trip also aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the people, history, language, and culture of Ecuador, explore the effectiveness of service trips, and develop cultural sensitivity. It is ideal for students pursuing medical careers but is open to all students interested in global healthcare disparities and service.
