Careers In Action Camp

Careers in Action is a camp for high school students (14 yrs old and finished 8th grade) wishing to explore health professions. Through this experience participants will be invited into the hospital to gain a better understanding of the variety of health disciplines that exist in that setting. Over the course of seven visits, areas such as the cardiac cath lab, cardiovascular testing (CVT), respiratory therapy, nursing, surgery, imaging services, pharmacy, medical social services, the emergency department, and outpatient therapy will be explored in a fun and interactive way.

MANDATORY REGISTRATION & ORIENTATION SEPTEMBER 28, 2017 5:30 – 6:30 PM UNION HOSPITAL EAST, ATRIUM CONFERENCE ROOM. IF UNDER AGE 18 PARENTAL ATTENDANCE REQUIRED.

CAMP DATES 6 – 8 PM OCT 19, 2017, NOV 16, 2017, DEC 14, 2017, JAN 18, 2018, FEB 15, 2018, MAR 15, 2018, AND APRIL 19, 2018.
