The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra opens its 2024-2025 season in spectacular fashion by featuring fan favorites from the orchestral repertoire including Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet, Verdi’s Overture to La Forza del Destino, Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol. Additionally, audience favorite pianist Drew Petersen returns to perform Ravel’s delightful, entertaining Piano Concerto in G. The music from this concert, aptly named “Playing Favorites,” will be recognizable to even the most novice listener of classical music. OLLI at ISU seats are in the Gold Level.
