When Jesse Walker graduated from ISU in 1988 it is not likely he had any idea he would become a local legend, but after almost 40 years as a television meteorologist at WTWO, that is exactly what he has become. One of the staples of Jesse’s reporting is his annual Walker’s Winter Weather Outlook. In this presentation, Jesse gives OLLI at ISU a sneak peak at his winter forecast as well as provide a behind-the-scenes look at life as a television meteorologist. Easily the most beloved television personality in the area, Jesse Walker was voted the Best TV Personality in the Wabash Valley in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and again in 2024 in the Terre Haute Tribune-Star Readers’ Choice Awards.
