Subsequent sessions will delve into the rich art, literature, and nightlife ofHarlem, highlighting key figures and the cultural explosion that attracted patrons from across the five boroughs. The course explores the impact of the 1929 Stock Market Crash and subsequent racial incidents which signaled the decline of this remarkable era.
