Objective of the Travel: The program offers students a unique opportunity to explore the dynamic relationship between sport and culture in Auckland, New Zealand, and Sydney, Australia. It aims to examine how athletics influence and reflect societal values, identity, and community, and to provide students with a broader understanding of how sport transcends borders while reflecting on the unique histories and values of the region. The project also seeks to increase international content in the department's curriculum and provide students with a unique, cross-cultural experience.
